Welcome to Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory's Website !

This laboratory conduct study on geotehnical engineering, earthquake engineering and engineering geology by full use of numerical analysis, laboratory experiments, and field work. Our research target is from earth's surface to deep underground. The research themes are SPH simulation of slope failure induced by earthquake ground motion, quantificative analysis of isolation possibility during earthquake in mountainous area, development of an accurate techniques for earthquake-induced landslide hazard assessment, evaluation of properties of natural and engineered barriers for geological disposal of radioactive waste, and others.
